Katrina Kaif felt betrayed that a segment of the press chose to encroach on her personal space and print photographs of Ranbit Kapoor and her, on vacation on a beach in Ibiza, Spain.
I am writing this to say that I feel most upset, distressed and invaded at my pictures published in a film magazine (and which were carried by other media). The pictures were taken while I was on holiday by someone who, in an act of cowardice, has shoot without permission and then used the pictures for commercial gain.
There is a breed of journalism that preys on celebrities in the worst possible manner crossing all lines of privacy and decency. Running these pictures shows support for this school of journalism.
I request that all media running these pictures please refrain from doing so. I have a wonderful relationship with the media and have accessible to the media at all times. There is no reason for this furtive and invasive behaviour.

Paparazzi, are photographers who take pictures of athletes, celebrities, politicians, and other prominent people usually while they are going about normal life routines. Meanwhile, Paparazzo (singular) is known as a freelance photographer who aggressively pursues celebrities for the purpose of taking candid photographs. He or she who doggedly pursues celebrities to take candid pictures for sale to magazines and newspapers. Paparazzi tend to be independent contractors, unaffiliated with any mainstream media organization and pictures take are usually done so by opportunity. So far, many celebrities complain about the extent to which paparazzi invade their personal space, and some have even filed restraining orders against them. In 2006, Daniella Cicarelli went through a scandal when a paparazzo caught video footage of her having sex with her boyfriend on a beach in Spain, which was posted onYouTube. After fighting in the court, it was decided in her favor, causing YouTube to be blocked in Brazil. This caused major havoc among Brazilians, including threatening a boycott against MTV unless Cicarelli was fired from the company. The block only lasted a few days, and Cicarelli did not get fired. The legal action backfired as the court decided she had no expectation of privacy by having sex in a public location. Then, in 2007, YouTube won the case, based on the fact that there is no expectation of privacy on a public beach. Cicarelli appealed and in 2008 the Supreme Court of the state of São Paulo changed the decision, based on the fact there is no public interest in that video and there was privacy invasion. The lawsuit isn't finished yet, because YouTube appealed and now wait for the judgment by the Federal Supreme Court. YouTube remains active in Brazil. Again, in 2008, a paparazzo sued and lost his case against actor Keanu Reeves claiming that Reeves hit him with his car after he left his friend's house. The photographer also claimed that he was unable to work since the accident stating that his hand was permanently injured and asked the court for over $700,000 in compensation. The photographer was privately investigated and filmed still working using the said injured hand and shown to have many inconsistencies in his story.
It has not been long that Katrina-Ranbir's spicy pics were out and now shocking snaps of the Barbie doll Katrina Kaif with Siddharth Mallya has started making rounds on the internet. The Times of India. /
